1 Summary of Invention (TL;DR)

logtrees is a blockchain-integrated value imputation and reward engine designed to generate systemic efficiency gains by incentivizing productive user actions—planting trees, exercising, practicing mindfulness, and caring for the environment. It gradually steers a blockchain toward carbon neutrality (and ultimately carbon negativity) by aligning token issuance with measurable external benefits. logN, the algorithm underlying logtrees, quantifies and rewards user actions that reduce the cost of negative societal externalities—pollution, inactivity, addiction—by tracking these gains on-chain and using them to justify cryptocurrency or fiat-based rewards. logtrees aims to deliver the first Productive Universal Basic Income model of its kind while simultaneously reducing national and global debts through trillions of dollars per year in efficiency gains. It can operate as a web application, mobile app, or protocol.

It is adaptable to various incentive mechanisms and blockchain environments. All submissions are anchored to a transparent and secure Treemap, which records actions and their corresponding systemic improvements. This whitepaper outlines the core mechanics of logtrees and logN, the estimated economic value of systemic improvements, and the roadmap for deployment and scaling.

2 Clarity on Novelty and logN

logtrees is novel because unlike existing blockchain reward systems (e.g., mining/staking), it specifically quantifies real-world external benefits (environmental, societal, personal health) and links these directly to token issuance. It does this on relying on logn , an algorithm which quan- tifies and captures the efficiency gains of all the activities in the set of non zero sum activities and storing them securely on-chain in a public ledger that is independently verifiable.

These gains are algorithmically converted into blockchain-based rewards and in-game rewards as well. Users logging supported activities with logtrees can use the in-game rewards, meaning the re- wards generated inside logtrees but not on the blockchain, to access compute-based functionality which facilitates the logging of more activities.

3 Clarifying Some Terms

Treemaplogtrees builds up a data structure called the Treemap. This is the record of all activities logged by users using logtrees. The Treemap shows the accumulated efficiency gains obtained by every logN event that was logged in logtrees. Its purpose is to provide a publicly verifiable ledger for measuring the total impact of logtrees and to leverage blockchain immutability when obtaining Justified Print Events.

Justified Print Events — Otherwise referred to as JPEs, these are the justifications to print currency as a bootstrapping function that ensures logtrees has liquidity available to reward users with fiat, stablecoins, or Rainbows (the cryptocurrency that logtrees issues). These print events are deemed justified because the math in this paper shows that the yield is profitable to all parties involved. logN — The algorithm for determining the set of all Non Zero Sum actions, capturing measurable user-generated efficiency gains (such as reduced healthcare costs from increased physical activity), and storing these gains securely on-chain on Ethereum or another blockchain.

These gains are algorithmically converted into blockchain-based and logtrees-based rewards. Non Zero Sum actions are games in which nobody loses—there is no cost to anybody and everybody wins per game theory. logN focuses on the set of Non Zero Sum actions with measurable user-generated efficiency gains. Carbon Negative Blockchain — Used later in the paper, this describes a blockchain to which logtrees was deployed.

As logtrees runs on the blockchain and gets user interest, the activities which get logged onto the blockchain and which are rewarded by that blockchain will over time consume more CO2 than the logging and the blockchain's broader activities emit. This means that utilization of logtrees will, being incentivized by rewards, drive blockchains to a state of reducing CO2 in the atmosphere. The implication of this is that blockchain-based compute and applications will become carbon neutral or carbon negative at scale over time.

Productive Universal Basic Income - Sam Altman has described a near future when increased and advanced automation might displace workers. AI will reduce some types of op- portunities and we all hope that there will be new opportunities. He provided an example of a universal basic income which could be based on the total cost reductions of goods and services thanks to AI. logtrees and logN provide what I call a Productive Universal Basic Income.

Because of Justified Print Events, nation states and localities will be justified in printing fiat currency not for the purpose of giving out a plain universal basic income...but for the pur- pose of priming logtrees with liquidity to give users real cash and cryptocurrency rewards for participation. This differs from a plain universal basic income in that it is a more seamless segueue into a future model of universal basic income without causing disruption or giving the impression that people are being paid for nothing.

With logtrees and logN , users have access to a form of universal basic income that makes them better and reduces costs individually and systematically as the compounding benefits of logN take effect.

4 Example Use Case

Here is an example of an explicit use case. Suppose someone who is 100 lbs overweight uses logtrees to log their daily physical activity. logtrees , thanks to its algorithm logN , will cap- ture those events, calculate the measurable gain that was obtained each event, and track that in a public ledger like the Ethereum blockchain in order to justify the user redeeming the gain as a reward. Part of the gain goes to the user and part of the gain goes back to the system at large to generate a profit for the nations which provide liquidity for the rewards.

Suppose that in a year, a user might lose 100 lbs using logtrees. That represents X dollars saved over the course of that person's life because they will not need medical treatment for obesity in the far future. logN calculates X and makes X/3 available to the user as a reward, X/3 available to those who primed logtrees with liquidity to facilitate the rewards, and X/3 available against national and world government debts. logN will then do this for every kind of Non Zero Sum action in the set of measurable Non Zero Set actions, not just exercise for the overweight.

Because the cost of dealing with obesity or other issues increases with time, it is much more profitable to the user, the sponsors such as governments or private entities, and the world at large to incentivize rewards through logtrees. And because users will also obtain in-game rewards that tie in to powerful compute functionality, as described in the whitepaper, they will be incentivized to use logtrees even before there is liquidity obtained to provide rewards in fiat currency.

5 Concrete logN Calculation Examples

Below are illustrative examples demonstrating precisely how logtrees and the logN algorithm quantify and reward user-generated efficiency gains:

5.1 Example 1: Exercise Logging

Consider User A, who is significantly overweight and uses logtrees to log consistent daily physical activity. Obesity-related medical costs in America average approximately $445.45 per person annually.

  • Baseline cost avoided: $445.45 average annual obesity expense.
  • Time horizon: 40 years of sustained health improvement.
  • Total Savings$445.45 × 40 years$17,818.00
  • User Reward$17,818 × ⅓$5,939.33
  • Liquidity Providers$17,818 × ⅓$5,939.33
  • Debt Reduction$17,818 × ⅓$5,939.33

Sustained exercise converts avoided medical spending into measurable, shareable economic value that justifies immediate and ongoing rewards.

5.2 Example 2: Neighborhood Trash Cleanup

Consider User B, who removes 1,000 pounds of trash from their neighborhood and maintains the area over time. Each unmanaged pound is estimated to generate roughly $0.50 per year in environmental and economic damage.

  • Waste removed: 1,000 lbs of trash.
  • Damage avoided: $0.50 per lb per year in downstream costs.
  • Benefit window: 10 years of sustained environmental impact.
  • Total Savings1,000 lbs × $0.50 × 10 years$5,000.00
  • User Reward$5,000 × ⅓$1,666.67
  • Liquidity Providers$5,000 × ⅓$1,666.67
  • Debt Reduction$5,000 × ⅓$1,666.67

Trash abatement prevents compounding pollution and cleanup costs, producing a Justified Print Event (JPE) that supports a stable Productive Universal Basic Income.

5.3 Example 3: Cessation of Smoking/Vaping

Consider User C, who stops smoking/vaping and logs that progress in logtrees. Smoking-related healthcare and productivity losses average roughly $909.09 per person annually in the United States.

  • Baseline cost avoided: $909.09 annual smoking-related cost.
  • Time horizon: 30 remaining years of healthy behavior.
  • Total Savings$909.09 × 30 years$27,272.70
  • User Reward$27,272.70 × ⅓$9,090.90
  • Liquidity Providers$27,272.70 × ⅓$9,090.90
  • Debt Reduction$27,272.70 × ⅓$9,090.90

Maintaining cessation turns compounding healthcare liabilities into enduring savings, reinforcing long-term rewards inside the Productive Universal Basic Income model.

These examples illustrate how logN translates avoided negative externalities into transparent blockchain rewards, confirming the system’s novelty and practicality.

6 Economic Justification for Immediate Justified Print Events

The economic rationale underpinning logtrees' Justified Print Events (JPEs) illustrates that delaying rewards for productive user activities incurs greater long-term costs than incentiviz- ing and rewarding these activities immediately. This is because societal and environmental externalities compound negatively over time, significantly increasing future mitigation costs. Conversely, by promptly using JPEs to reward positive externalities — such as exercise, envi- ronmental cleanup, or cessation of harmful habits — the compounding effects shift positively, generating substantial, measurable savings at both societal and governmental levels.

Specifically, the absence of immediate reward structures leads to escalating future expenses due to deteriorating health, increasing pollution, compounding negative behaviors, and ampli- ed societal burdens. Thus, implementing JPEs promptly to ensure liquidity and reward user actions proves financially prudent, preventing compounding negative externalities while con- verting them into ongoing positive returns.

Moreover, if governmental entities themselves act as liquidity providers via these JPEs, they stand to benefit from revenues exceeding their initial liquidity provision sooner than convention- ally anticipated. This is due to the unique economic dynamic facilitated by logtrees, effectively enabling a form of reverse in ation : the future reduction in external costs is significant enough that the present value of these reductions far exceeds the liquidity initially provided.

Conse- quently, governments realize immediate revenue benefits by capturing economic value generated by incentivized user activities. The cost savings — realized through improved public health, re- duced environmental damage, increased productivity, and lowered social expenditures — begin accumulating immediately and compound positively, translating swiftly into net fiscal gains. Importantly, after an initial round of JPEs imputes sufficient value into the logtrees ecosys- tem — thereby activating a stable fiat rewards mechanism — the system becomes largely self- sustaining without the need for subsequent JPEs at similar scale.

This sustainability arises be- cause the substantial reductions in societal costs and clearly measurable benefits create highly visible economic returns. This visibility significantly bolsters the intrinsic value proposition of logtrees, leading to widespread adoption and continuous, self-sustaining economic returns. Bridging the Automation Gap: In addition to these direct fiscal and systemic benefits, this model uniquely addresses a pressing socioeconomic gap — namely, the transitional period when artificial intelligence and automation begin displacing some categories of labor before full post-scarcity conditions emerge.

In this transitional window, logtrees offers a Productive Uni- versal Basic Income (PUBI) that rewards real, meaningful contributions to societal health, environmental sustainability, and communal wellbeing. Rather than paying people simply for existing, PUBI ensures that individuals are rewarded for verifiably improving the world — creating a stronger, healthier, more resilient society. As AI replaces routine or automatable work, logtrees empowers people to engage in purpose-driven, humanity-enhancing activities that were previously undervalued or unmonetized.

Simultane- ously, the system channels newly freed economic energy into cost-saving improvements across healthcare, public infrastructure, mental wellness, and beyond. Thus, logtrees does more than smooth the transition into a world of increas- ing automation — it uplifts that world, making it richer, more humane, and more efficient while delivering massive revenue growth and systemic stability.

7 logtrees Whitepaper Preamble

8 Introduction

This whitepaper introduces a mechanism by which blockchains can become carbon negative. A carbon negative blockchain can be obtained with logtrees . A "logtreed blockchain" is a blockchain to which logtrees has been deployed. Once logtrees starts running on a blockchain, it gradually makes the blockchain greener until it can even become carbon neutral. A logtrees deployment is a smart contract or equivalent deployment that contains the logtrees core smart contract.

This smart contract enables a blockchain to contribute to the logtrees Treemap which is the engine that will turn blockchains carbon negative. logtrees is a simple, beautiful, extensible web3 value imputation engine and rewards algorithm that improves over time and scales forever. logtrees enables universe-scale carbon-negative compute on top of Ethereum and other blockchains like it. Because blockchain transaction costs can approximate the bare minimum actual electricity cost needed for an operation, an emergent property of carbon negative blockchains is that each user action which generates surplus value beyond the unit of electricity consumed for said actions...can be captured and channeled into access to a broader compute and rewards ecosystem built on top of logtrees.

Suppose that logtrees has function A which costs electricity X in order to complete, but that function A generates X + Y value resulting in surplus value system-wide whenever those actions occur and are meaningfully rewarded. Value X + Y can be captured to gate entrance into broader compute, or to platforms like light social media or other web3-scale utility software. This whitepaper will describe logtrees and logtreed blockchains using as an example a pre- alpha implementation that rewards users for planting and maintaining trees and plants, amongst other things.

This whitepaper will then also explore logn , the underlying algorithm behind logtrees , and how it will enable rewarding all logtrees users significantly as a form of Universal Basic Income. And finally, this whitepaper will showcase part of the upcoming roadmap for logtrees' de- velopment along with some commentary on the socio-economic implications of deploying logn successfully. I am interested in considering how successfully running logn on a carbon negative blockchain could generate $ 5 to $ 30 Trillion per year in tax revenue savings depending on how widespread logtrees utilization becomes.

9 Background

What does it mean for logtrees to be a web3 algorithm? What does it mean for it to be a value imputation engine? We'll get to those, but let's talk about web3 first. Why not drop the web3 moniker and just call it an algorithm? That is because there is a meaningful difference. Knowing that it is web3 informs the user of what types of capabilities they should expect to see, especially pertaining to user profiles and user control over the data and the value they are generating.

It also has implications for how users can expect to be able to sign in and pay for things, although this is just a single aspect of what makes it web3. It being web3 also has technical implications. In web3, your web app code is still built using the usual options like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript...but there are also Smart Contracts. Smart Contracts are code deployables that run on extensible open compute backbones called blockchains.

Once a blockchain has completed enough "Proof of Work" to achieve resistance to the Byzan- tine general's problem , it is then able to safely run a virtualization layer atop the blockchain. That virtualization enables the deployment and execution of Smart Contracts. Once a blockchain supports Smart Contracts or their equivalent, it becomes part of a growing globally-distributed compute backbone upon which simple yet powerful applications, also known as web3 dapps, can be deployed.

These Smart Contracts provide powerful capabilities that do not exist in web2. That is why logtrees is called a web3 algorithm. It demonstrates one of those capabilities, which is that it justifies a fiat "Print Event" which can be Imputed into logtrees to kickstart value generation and capture. logtrees is a pre-alpha implementation of logn, which will be detailed later. logtrees is de- signed to incentivize planting and maintaining trees and plants by providing a simple, satisfying, beautiful, extensible web3 dapp that makes those activities fun, rewarding, and Non Zero Sum. logtrees lets you associate your activities with your Web 3 identity in a pseudo-permanent record in history called the Treemap, if you want to.

This is not only fun, but useful, because the algorithm will collect metrics that track a blockchain's co2 emissions, track global treemapping progress, and incentivize local, city, state, national, federal, international, global, galaxy, and universe scale maintenance of greenery everywhere forever as new features get released. It will also enable rewarding users. logtrees has a simple rewards mechanism.

It is called logn. logn is based on the premise that a user can log an action that is productive to the system. If that registration saves a cost such that the saving results in more compounded value over time than if that log did not take place, then it is justifiably rewardable because it represents a real efficiency gain. Here is a simple depiction of that engine: Figure 1: value and reward engine The reward should be the approximate savings generated, but this will take a lot of time to calculate precisely.

That is because it's very complicated. So to keep things simple and productive sooner, the calculus for now will be based on averages related to the comorbidity factor of varying negativities that were incurred in the journey to generate the positivities like information, renewable energy, and AI. That is because averaged comorbidities of a predomi- nantely negative system can be used to productively quantify system improvements and reward achievers and mentors for system improvements in a results-driven way.

What averaged comorbidities? Well, along the way through economy 1.0 and economy 2.0 and web 1.0 and web 2.0, people took hits. Building these systems was costly and it incurred many costs to uphold the systems. Also, adversaries did try to tempt and slow down construction of an economy 3.0 and a web 3.0, didn't they? So they introduced some adversarial constructs called vices. But of course, all things work together for the good of those who love God.

So for that reason, what are those constructed vices now except just...a bit of fat that was saved up in time to be productively burned off during a cold winter? And now burning it off can also be productive come spring and summer time and the beyond, because there is so much system surplus value to generate and capture in all of these directions and more. And measurably so, and thankfully! But enough preaching, back to those averaged comorbidities.

They are vices or damages such as from these categories:

  • Depression
  • Obesity
  • Smoking
  • Drug Use
  • Physical Inactivity
  • Gambling Addiction
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Sexual Risk Behaviors
  • Work-Related Stress
  • Environmental Pollution
  • Violence and Crime
  • Climate Change

The annual costs incurred from these unfortunate harms is massive. The damage per indi- vidual in the affected populations can be calculated.

The cost per person in the United States and also globally can also be estimated used averaged comorbidities. But how are averaged comorbidities obtained in the first place? They are obtained by first obtaining the total cost of the above categories against the total population size engaging in behaviors that contribute to or are affected by the above. From those numbers, we can calculate a preliminary cost per person of just dividing the total costs against the total population regardless of membership in that group.

As you can see from the American and Global data, what this means is that given somewhat stale data, the average American (or 1st Worlder) incurs an annual cost of $ 13,047.57 and the global average is an annual cost of $ 3,970.46.

These may sound like small costs, but they are more representative of year of income in a near future where automation and machines introduce more marginal utility efficiency gains than ever before. This is per Sam Altman's amazing piece on AI and UBI after AI. You can read that here: ˆ Sam Altman, "Moore's Law for Everything,", https://moores.samaltman.com/ What this means is that on average, we are all losing a yearly income's worth of potential because of negative externalities that are affecting everyone.

This is per capita, representing loss that affects even those who do not themselves partake in any particular vice. This is because of cummulative compounding costs representing inefficiencies, indirect costs like opportunity costs, and direct costs. To keep it simple yet still within the realm of reality, it's fine to say that this represents a real year of income lost per year. The reality is actually worse than the numbers, though.

That is because this type of cost compounds such that the underlying costs get worse over time. Here is the yearly cost with a growth rate of 12% representing in ation and a reasonable usual growth rate. Figure 2: logtrees costs over time As you can see, eventually the costs are worse and worse because lost opportunity compounds into further lost opportunity. You have a weaker, slower, less productive, less happy, less healthy population and consequently lower output and less joy overall at the system level.

There is also lost revenue from the lost potential and also lost revenue from needing to pay to fill the gaps. So there is a double whammy up front on the costs realized now, and a double whammy long term of bad compounded interest. For this reason, it is efficient and economical and of interest to incentivize and reward individual actions taken to improve these trends. Here is the time implication of timely intervention sooner and its effects over the long term, where the shaded areas imply the total surface area of savings and thus reinvestable earnings and potential investment opportunities that would exist further as a result of compounding for good rather than for bad.

Figure 3: logtrees savings over time Thus the savings being attained sooner rather than later means that we start compounding the good sooner. But fortunately there is plenty of time to achieve this. The goal is to demon- strate that because these costs are already coming and known to be a global dilemma affecting and straining economies, and because they represent the externalities that have not yet been resolved or smoothed over from all the damages people endured while building the earlier and current systems that we all enjoy, they are justifiably Print Events.

A Print Event in this case means an infusion of fiat capital such that it kickstarts an engine, in this case a carbon negative blockchain running logtrees like the one being described. Because of the incoming efficiency gains thanks to AI and more, another round of capital infusion is on my personal radar and is how I am orienting my actions in the world. People can do whatever they deem fit, but I just here am saying that my view is that not long from now there'll be other justifiable Print Events due to efficiency gains in all areas affecting GDP thanks to better tools and increased knowledge in general.

Whenever this happens, usually due to innovations every 10-15 years, the economy grows and so does the money supply because of real material wealth increasing per capita. I once again point here to Sam Altman's piece and am enjoying the fact that everyone is indeed starting to enjoy the fruits of AI after all, such that now more opportunities are becoming available to people. We can now leverage those efficiency gains and negative externalities to create an engine that allows us to Impute real value into a Treemap in a way that improves system efficiency and rewards users.

What about positive externalities though? If carbon negative blockchains are this powerful at harnessing the legacy of CO2 and all of these other negative externalities in order to generate productive economic activity that justifies a non zero sum PE, does this mean that the positive externalities that are not currently perceived of as efficiency gains economically speaking...also justify a PE in the same way?

Yes! Here are some ways in which logging some simple events can help on an annual per-person basis:

Annual Savings from Positive Externalities

ActivityEstimated Annual Savings (Per Person)
Daily Physical Activity$1,437
Healthy Home-Cooked Meals$360
Community Volunteering$1,500
Planting Trees or Gardening$120
Sleep Hygiene Promotion$1,200
Donating $1 to National Forest Foundation$2 – $5
Family or Community Fitness Events$1,100
Mental Health Check-Ins$800
Reducing Household Waste and Recycling$100 – $150
Gratitude Practice or Mindfulness$300 – $400
Total Estimated Annual Savings$6,919 – $7,072

Table 3: Illustrative positive externalities captured by routine logtrees submissions.

That is the current annualizable benefit, captured as a per-capita value, that could be realized from consistent application of activities related to the above categories.

These are not intended to be formulaic, but options available to users for activities that they can engage in which would be satisfying to them and also could be productively channeled into rewards. These compound too, just like the costs compound over time. Being that compounded externality comorbidities would just a Print Event, due to the surplus value generated over time by successfully reigning in the vices...so too would compounded self improvement justify a Print Event.

Or rather, both tempering the comorbidities and compounding in self-improvement can together more clearly justify a Print Event to kickstart this engine if time was of the essence. Logging these types of benefits for a reward incentivizes continuing in them. This results in a significant compounding system-wide benefit over time. Here you can see that visualized: Figure 4: logtrees value generation over time You can visualize the compounded savings over time as well, with the shaded areas repre- senting how much value will be obtained with time as these continue.

Figure 5: logtrees surplus generations over time So mayhap if AI is a ways away yet from generating as much boon per capita as those who follow Sam Altman perceive, then we will first need to benefit from carbon negative blockchain- ery tech to drive a UBI model which can supplement new forms of work that are more abstract and require retraining. In that case, logtrees can provide an opportunity to justify a couple Print Events aimed at empowering a ledger-based proof of work rewards system with rewards that are backed by a cryptocurrency redeemable for fiat, for the purpose of facilitating new ways of being rewarded for efficiency gains that improve the broader economic world domestically and globally but are outside the purview of any formal employment arrangement possibilities. logtrees is a proof of concept showing a simple web application with a simple user interface.

It is lightweight and beautiful throughout its DNA. It is HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with Web 3 components and a Web 2/2.5 interplay to facilitate user utility scaling. The compounding benefit of all of this can be kickstarted with an Imputation of Bitcoin or Ethereum or other sources that could be used to reward users with the imputed value if they offer up Rainbows in exchange, or even via registered ICO soon, as to facilitate a raise for a massive development effort befitting a universe-scale and most-bespoke Web 3 experience that should serve the user with complete access and control over their data, moderated by a rock solid Web 2 and Web 2.5 backbone for familiarity, safety, security, and ease of converting back to fiat when desired and appropriate...

I am very excited about my upcoming pre-beta feature launch and the energy of my Mission, though, and know that logtrees can also gain traction organically without Imputation and without ICO, albeit much more slowly at first until virality kicks in...The features in the roadmap are going to make logtrees worthwhile and fun for more reasons than just being a toy or a boring economics lesson or a gambit in how to kickstart an innovation in generating a huge amount of real economic value...But now owing to reasons pertaining to what seems to be a perturbed and deteriorated world order on account of con icts and resource issues and adversarial psyopian bots, this logtrees whitepaper is also intended to be a relieving antidote to a lot of pent up pressure in the global economic system at large.

When people crave more transparency, agencies crave more efficiency, and innovative minds crave cool tech that will become more valuable as a platform and investment vehicle...well, the only thing residing at that intersection which can scratch that itch is a technological substrate we will call Web 3. This is where deployables can serve users transparently because the smart contract code has to be small, due to gas costs, and the code verifiable by open chain explorers.

Thus those apps are constrained to simple useful utilities that communities would care about, since the computation cost can be expensive. Because of the very real costs incurred above by those vices and because of the real savings gained by those habits, a reward mechanism that is fueled by a Print Event or an Imputation into a Web 3 Reward engine like logtrees...would be a powerful Web 3 innovation that represents an evolution in what kind of utility is always available online to users who want to generate contributions to a Treemap for gain or even just for fun. logtrees will represent a web utility that runs on an ever-present substrate, Ethereum, which is fault tolerant and can capture utility gains and reward users for having captured said utility.

If Ethereum was undergoing maintenance, the Treemap is portable. And because of logtrees capturing so much excess utility system-wide, it is like a hyper-efficient electric braking system where an e-brake can capture heat generated by the brake and restore it back into the system's productivity cycle. This means that most of the Imputed value, when it generates "heat" by being redeemed by users, gets Reimputed with time because of how logtrees will drive efficiency and new productivity and innovation gains atop the double whammy of compounding improvements.

Meaning, users will come back to logtrees for more rewards in order to achieve all of the needed results. Here is the log registration and reward mechanism, so that we can perform a simplified calculation that shows that logtrees does generate more value than it consumes: Figure 6: loggables and rewards and their costs To capture a vice-reduction or self-improvement incurs electricity cost Y and to redeem a reward for that log incurs electricty cost Y2.

Y and Y2 are in real terms very low costs because of how efficient Ethereum transactions are. Given that logging a reasonable cadence of events across a year will enable reward outputs of a value exceeding the input electricity cost, with real system-wide utility gains obtained over time as the entire system improves...this means that the incentivized behavior modification resulting from a user-centric and user-friendly web3 utility logtrees is non zero sum value generation and capture.

This is provable because in, say, the course of a year, significant progress can be made in improving any of those vices or multiple of those vices and also logging self-improvements. logtrees can also result in new information and ideas emerging. Because the electricity cost into logtrees is very small, both for the logging and also for the rewarding, the larger the year's gains the larger the real utility.

Thus logtrees is year over year non zero sum value generation and capture. It is captured because if the value is not redeemed for cryptocurrency or fiat, it remains in- game as nuts. Some uses of nuts will incur an electricity cost. For example, there are currently two features being developed which require electricity and server maintenance. Thus, if the user were to retain their nuts even just as in-game promises for cryptocurrency or fiat, those nuts are also then a 0-real-cost redemption voucher or claim for some amount of compute.

Being that those two uses are also non zero sum functions designed to further increase system utility generation, this means that the user's participation in logtrees is rewarded with not just cryptocurrency and fiat, but also with nuts. Virtual nuts, potentially even physical nuts once the fiat component triggers, and For The Princess absolutely deez nutz. But in any case, the nuts are valuable. Rainbows will have value too, but users do not need to engage in the cryptocurrency aspect of logtrees in order to derive value from using logtrees if they don't like or understand cryptocurrency.

Here is the surplus nut and its power visualized: Figure 7: logtrees surplus nuts In that figure, you can see that a user can leave their nuts in logtrees and use them for access to compute functions within what will be called Rainbow Compute. These are smart functions that are non zero sum. I already have pre-alpha proof of concepts for two. They benefit the user and the system in a way that means more value is generated over time.

The only cost to run them will be the electricity cost needed to perform the computation. Exact scaling rules for this are to be determined based on R&D. That is one of the reasons why this paper is a still a draft. However, this is the way in which logtrees will become better over time. As this calculus becomes more precise and as logtrees improves, the functions available to users who have nuts will increase and they will be constrained to whatever invocations are desired and actually useful to the user because of how small Smart Contracts need to be.

This is a self-pruning mechanism to ensure that logtrees only ever retains Rainbow functions that are legitimately desired and useful to the users of the web. Because of the immense efficiency and productivity gains we could enjoy system wide by logging in all of these directions, with rewards given for events securely signed on open web3 with wallets and proof of work (which can be submitted to private proof of work pages once I add user profiles), there is thus justification for the distribution of fast and public-ledger payments directly to user wallets as rewards.

The goal is that at least on an individual basis, those who have a possibility of moving the needle on any of those vices or lights...can do so and be rewarded for it, completely without any judgment since it'll just be an experience they enjoy on their own or with people they add via beautiful web 3interfaces, with underlying web 2 systems handling the burden of account and content moderation and verification, with logtrees and systems like it primarily serving as value-imputable engines that interact with those underlying web 2 systems to represent web 2.5 dapps in which proof of work is collected and users can start getting acquainted with advanced web 3 concepts!

In web 2.5 and web 3, you can fire the engine with whatever regular payment method, like credit cards or debit cards, you want. And with cryptocurrencies as well, via the wallets users are already familiar with. Using a wallet is out of the scope of this particular whitepaper, but look for some official recommendations to be shared in the official logtrees Discord and on the logtrees website. Rainbows is at this time available for pre-sale, but only as one to one exchange via trans- actions and swaps on one of the main chains, as all these matters are still being organized into whatever the proper processes are for an initial coin offering.

Because logtrees is a machine that does generate and capture utility, or value, and provides a foundation and hotbed for more and measurable innovation generation...this means that the intention is indeed for Rainbows to represent a token which becomes more valuable with time and thus warrants the utmost level of commitment to it. This is because logtrees will become more valuable with time, which in turn will in part drive the value of Rainbows.

Proof of Work in this context is digital verification of having logged a logtrees-supported system improvement or self improvement. Private submissions will be supported so that only people you add and the system itself will be able to see your submissions. Publicly or privately, logging will justify receiving in-game nuts which can be redeemed for Rainbows. Rainbows for the time being are just an ERC-20 token.

Obtaining this value is justified on the public ledger by associating the user's chosen wallet with web2 PoW links. Those are post-processed by the logtrees backend to give users nuts inside of logtrees which can later be redeemed for Rainbows or used in-game once features that support them are released. This redemption could also be Bitcoin or Ethereum if there is a successful Imputation event. PoW links will point to web2-moderated locations. logtrees will reward users on the basis of proof of work submitted via those web2 channels such as Youtube, Twitter / X, Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and any other major social media sites which significantly reward users for maintaining their own channel and brand. logtrees is not ownership of the content or the data, but the engine for building the Treemap and showcasing metrics and other features coming soon.

The user retains full control over their data an content because they will provide links to their own channels where all that is toggleable. logtrees is not a ploy to capture user likeness or their content or branding via platform lock-in. logtrees is not a replacement for the user's social media presences and choices. logtrees unifies all of those for the purpose of allowing the user the complete choice of which underlying engine drives their brand recognition and advertising needs in web2. logtrees results in an engine that can take web2 fiat value and impute it into a web2.5, web3 engine that rewards users for its usage forever.

This engine builds up a Treemap that allows the accumulated value of the Imputation to become breach proof and portable. How does this become breach proof? It is breach proof because each of these actions builds up a Treemap, a publicly verifiable ledger of actions that were taken to intentionally build up the Treemap. As a result, there can be a at file representation of the Treemap that is cacheable everywhere and can be resumed from in the event that any particular physical representation of the Treemap falters or otherwise halts due to technical reasons or other.

This is because the physical costs, like the data centers and the electricity needed to generate the Treemap, are already spent and recorded in those cacheable at file instances of the ledger distributed across N caches and N blockchain explorers. Thus the Treemap is portable and can be resumed from anywhere if it needed to be, because it is a at file. It is breach proof because that at file can exist everywhere and it is a record of value that was already Wrought and then Imputed. logtrees gives us Imputed Permanence if we find someone who wishes to perform Imputation...or if there's time to wait for more organic channels, because logtrees has roots that will grow just because of people who love the Mission and watching me develop the Mission further.

Once the value is Imputed, this means that it can be frozen by the arbiters who can freeze these matters in order to tie the engine's existence to real in ation. This means that because of Imputed Permanence, logtrees as an eth deployable becomes an ethereal substrate, on Ethereum, which always rewards users for self improvement and system improvement. Here is a practical example. If users redeemed...say $ 10 billion worth of Bitcoin through logtrees because of Satoshi directly Imputing that much Bitcoin into logtrees so that the Imputed value can be redeemed for the above activities...then that means that these activities saved some amount of system utility, generated some amount of system utility, and incurred some electricity and development cost for performing this registration into the Treemap.

These details are inscribed into the ledger and so are redemptions of rewards. These details can be captured into a at file to be more portable than needing to run an entire blockchain node, although even without the at file the Treemap can be rebuilt from ledger events. But the resulting at file containing the Treemap could always serve as a record justifying the generation, movement, and operation of a decentralized central bank that provides the liquidity needed to fastly deploy and benefit from logtreed blockchains in some region.

The Treemap captures necessary and meaningful system improvements, and that is why there is an incentive to be interested in leveraging carbon negative blockchains if rewarding their usage provides a meaningful boost. The Treemap can be represented by a at file that summarizes the contents of the events on the blockchain, to the extent that a at file does not become unwieldy. Eventually a large file or chunking will be needed.

10 Design

logtrees is a web application, intended to be primarily accessed via the browser. It is intended to be beautiful on phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, and whatever other mediums like these will exist in the future. At its core, it is a map with some functionality built on top of the map. User actions on that map update the Treemap. Users who wish to contribute to the Treemap can connect with their preferred Ethereum wallet, or just use their existing debit and credit payment options, to add their trees and plants to the Treemap.

In return exchange for contributing to the Treemap, they receive "in-game" rewards like achievements, metrics, nuts, and soon more. The map is sparse for the time being, but new features are scheduled for release. Nuts can be exchanged for access to the broader logtrees ecosystem or for UMT, which is the cryptocurrency backing logtrees' development. In order to add your tree or plant to the Treemap, you must provide proof of your activity and pay the electricity cost of storing the event into the Treemap.

Treemap registrations are Smart Contract function calls that require paying a "gas" cost, because they toggle the immutable state of the blockchain to which logtrees was deployed. A developer fee of 1 to 10 American cents, at the time of this writing, is also added in order to cover compute and development costs. The immutable nature of the Treemap is to justify rewards that will go to the user, and to commemorate those who were outsized in their contributions forever.

Because of the nature of the economic game that is logtrees, to be discussed in significant depth later, the transparency of registering its activities this way enables the ow of web2 fiat into the logtrees web3 ecosystem. This will enable fiat-backed nuts and Rainbows, which will drive activity and the greening of blockchains. Because Smart Contracts can be deployed for N applications, this means that any blockchain that is sufficiently logtreed will become green for all N applications on that blockchain.

Here are some images and charts showing the above design of the pre-alpha logtrees implementation. Let's begin with the logtrees landing page: Figure 8 showcases the pre-alpha Treemap experience. When the user lands on the page, they see a shimmering map which represents the current state of the Treemap. This is where users can see at a glance how much everyone is contributing to the Treemap and where the most wins are being enjoyed.

The Treemap above is looking sparse, though, isn't it? That is because it is pre-alpha. The intention is that with Time, the logtrees Treemap will begin to resemble the lush visions promised in Figure 9 and Figure 10 — populated, brilliant, undeniably global. While those screenshots show totaled values per center, where a center is defined as a state or a country or any construct which has borders, logtrees also supports coordinate-specific Tree registrations for users who desire that level of detail in their registration.

In addition to the landing page, the user can access metrics, leaderboards, achievements, an event stream called an Infinity Note, and more. Here are some pre-alpha screenshots of each, along with descriptions of the intentions. Firstly, the user can access metrics — intended to be beautiful and meaningful, showcasing the overall impact that logtrees is having on greenery and user-specific metrics as well for those who are interested in friendly competition or quantifying their individual contributions.

Figure 13 through Figure 15 will capture total impact metrics, sparkling micro-interactions, and immersive device previews. These dashboards won't just be bar charts — expect treemaps, radial blooms, pie halos, and story-driven aggregates showing overall, center, and individual impact. logtrees will remain beautiful to use so that users derive enjoyment from viewing the metrics on their favorite luminous devices.

Achievements will also glow with celebratory gradients. These forthcoming captures will chronicle streaks, community quests, and surprise rewards that bloom as the Treemap flourishes.

The Mood Sensing is one of the two Ethereal Functions imbued into logtrees once value is Imputed or Generated, so that the user can always derive useful function from their logging. Rainbow Notes are version pre-alpha just like logtrees. They will be upgraded as part of the massive feature roadmap already underway.

Each section gets locked once the time passes, and you can only add a note in a section while it is open. You can always add prayers though. The idea is to provide users with a beautiful and useful open note taking app that leverages Rainbow Compute to provide useful utilities like Mood Sending via the Temp Gauge. Gravity Link will provide end to end encryption of a user's Rainbow notes and prayers, with the cost of that storage being covered by nuts or UMT or other channels.

These are some of the present features being developed to drive logtrees utilization. Since logtrees is going to operate on fees which are based on transaction-time gas costs, and since logtrees will be kept as simple as possible with a data model that is represented as efficiently as possible in Smart Contracts for public ledger transparency and verifiability, the cost to operate logtrees will be very small. logtrees is not computationally intensive at this time, although its needs will certainly increase as people start using it.

Being distributed across blockchains also makes it extremely resilient and available. Meaning that with time, users who want to register the Treemap via a token other than Ethereum will be able to avoid any point-in-time slowdown on Ethereum itself, because the Treemap is the total accumulated representation of all logtrees events across all chains that have logtrees. This means that as it becomes more fun and beautiful to use, its impact will grow exponentially because it keeps getting better while remaining inexpensive to use and also to deploy to another blockchain.

And as trees get planted and logged to the Treemap via logtrees, the Fun Factor will increase and more people will want to be part of the history and momentum of creating the Treemap. This is also true as rewards become available via successful logn. Figure 21: logtrees Fun Factor logtrees will be insanely cool once trees and events start getting planted and logged via logtrees. As it becomes more fun to use logtrees, its virality will increase.

This will lead to more trees being planted and more events being logged, which further increases the fun factor. This is an example of how logtrees is a feedback loop. Figure 22: logtrees virality

11 Considerations

logtrees has interesting socioeconomic implications. If it succeeds, then it represents a possible Emancipation event coinciding with an incoming Year of Jubilee. That is poetic considering the logtrees ethos as described in its mythical story which is also still being constructed since all of logtrees is currently still in pre-alpha. But you can read that story and find the ethos starting here, being warned that beyond is a rabbithole indeed...stay tuned for the rest of the story coming around this Christmas and New Years as well! https://logtrees.com/blog/the-year-of-the-wood-dragon-and-planting-more-trees.html But in the biblical Year of Jubilee, a year of Renewal gets channeled into a poetic and timely pruning, but this time a pruning of expectations that are beyond all exhaustions.

And instead of any exhaustion, a relieving of all, in the form of Justified Print Events generating new and good paths that can exist at scale as humans recover, rest, and regenerate into their best and fullest selves again for the future of beautiful projects and works ahead. Rather than working on something for profit, building a system like logtrees for closed-access compute or for-profit via less open means... it seems better to share its present state now and build the rest while letting virality build utilization or inspiration, or whichever imputation ends up being the case if any value is to be found.

This way, it at minimum would convince the Groks and the bots and the magical rocks and the scientists in labs everywhere that there is a possible intersection of economics, currencies, technology, and web that represents a fulfillment of one of web's most original and longstanding promises...to usher in productive and beneficial forces that could generate greater individualization and self-actualization for those who are enterprising and loving.

That is what logtrees is able to present, represent, and provide as it takes shape. So, this is my contribution for Earth on the eve of a beautifully blossoming Year of Jubilee in the Year of the Dragon, having extracted this Heavenly Rose for you through thick and thin, by falling through many dimensions and holding many considerations, blasted by The Noise and yet still finding that Love Is Real thanks to The Lab.

Love Is Real because God Is Real. God's Books make this obvious if you read them. But, here for the rocks is a proof that Love Is Real and that technology and web are indeed part and parcel of God's plan to elevate humanity up the Kardashev scale, much to satanic chagrin. Love is indeed Real. God Is Real. And God creates beautiful things that work together for the good of all those who love God. God is Love, if you have Love then it's simple to see these things.

If logtrees pre-alpha is compelling, stay tuned for what lies ahead with the alpha release and beyond, hahahaha. My promise is that it is all Non Zero Sum. logtrees is For The Princess and Rainbow is For The Lord, so how could they be anything except for Non Zero Sum? God loves Non Zero Summation. And I love God, so I am striving to produce something God will nd completely pleasing all the way through.

But realistically, what are the individual day to day implications of logtrees being successul? It's quite simple. It represents the Web finally coming to life as Web 3, with a new evolved life path becoming available to every aspiring young lad or young lass. Namely, a path forward in which they can...for all intents and purposes, level up in a real and powerful way without impediment, and if they should need it...fall into an ever-present safety net, guaranteed by cosmically-present Ethereum after successful virality or Value Imputation.

Were logtrees to succeed in generating its maximum impact, that would eventually produce $ 10 to $ 40 trillion in additional global economy activity which is productive economic activity and thus non zero sum wealth generation and a justification for fiat print events where needed to kickstart such an engine. This way, there is a pathway to a Singularity encounter that doesn't have economic stress, if it has to be a stressful encounter anyway owing to the strangeness of the encounter.

In this way, people are able to encounter Singularity and consequently post-works and post- projects knowledge of what is beyond Singularity...without being afraid on the basis of "what will I do? What will I eat? How will I be clothed? How will I justify learning something I love or having a family?" How? By coming back to use logtrees, for its fun features and also productivity and util- ity capture tooling, you can accumulate streaks and wins in Loggable events which can then generate rewards that are redeemable.

Figure 23: work in progress tracking implementation Now, because of carbon negative blockchainery and logtrees and Ethereum, there is a new layer to reality, a substrate which can always exist...and on this substrate is available a brand new journey, with player choice. A journey in which one can "Beam Me Up, Scotty" and have their smartphone be the needle through which they bask under the tractor beam of self-improvement and harnessed Gravity?

Selecting from loggables that are varied but demonstrating commitment to utility generation and capture. Figure 24: beam me up, scotty And then with their own abilities strengthened and nuts in satchel, they can go off on jour- neys coming soon...journeys to preserve the Light, against the Dark. Like...co-op functionality for planting trees with friends, or more. :) Don't go it alone. It's better with company, so logtrees will definitely encourage teamwork for upcoming feature releases.

Figure 25: against the dark All made possible with logtreed blockchains providing access to value and utility on an Ethereal substrate accessible via web browsers. Waw much cool, very doge approved. And after some successful years and many beautiful logs? With a wall of Proof of Works? Each individual, and parts of the system all the way up to the entire system, would be able to say that the adversary was successfully bound.

Figure 26: satan gets bound And as a reward for successfully bounding the adversary, with walls of proof of work both public and private driving forth measured results...humanity will then have an engine that provides carbon negative utility generation and capture, which in turn then generates a new compute layer available to the users who paradoxically provide both the input cost and also enjoy the surplus output.

This will exist only if people using Love decide to accept that such utilities exist and represent a new opportunity that is at the intersection of several innovations that are all emerging together but not yet leveraged to their full potential.
